Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account & profile: name, username, email, password hash, date of birth (if provided), preferences.
• Gameplay & participation: entries, scores, rewards, promotions joined, support interactions.
• Device, log & analytics: IP address, device identifiers, browser/app version, pages/actions, cookies or similar tech.
• Payments / IAP metadata: purchase status, product identifiers, timestamps, transaction IDs, and billing country. We do not store full card numbers; payments are handled by our payment providers/app stores.

2. How we use information

• Provide and operate the Services, including account authentication and gameplay/entry administration.
• Process purchases, prevent fraud, and handle chargebacks/disputes.
• Customer support, service messages, and safety notices.
• Analytics, debugging, and improving performance and features.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Sharing and disclosures

We may share personal information with service providers who process it for us (e.g., hosting, analytics, customer support tools, payment processors/app stores), and with professional advisers or authorities where required or permitted by law. We do not sell personal information.

4. Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, measure usage, and improve the Services. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; some features may not function if cookies are disabled.

5. Storage, security & retention

We take reasonable steps to protect information using administrative, technical and physical safeguards. We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described, unless longer retention is required for legal, accounting, dispute resolution, or security purposes. We then delete or de-identify it where practicable.

6. Cross-border processing

Our providers (and sometimes our systems) may process or store information outside New Zealand. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure information is protected in a way that is comparable to New Zealand privacy requirements (for example, through contractual protections and provider due diligence).

7. Your rights (NZ Privacy Act 2020)

• You can request access to, and correction of, personal information we hold about you.
• If we refuse a request, we will explain why (where required) and how you can complain.
• You can complain to us first, and you may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
